One of the priesthood holders in our Church once said, very kindly--"This Church is not a haven for saints; it's a hospital for sinners." It makes far more sense to me.<BR/><BR/>Then I think about Jesus being condemned by the scribes and Pharisees for healing on the Sabbath. And another time Christ posed the question, "Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath days?"<BR/><BR/>We often have to broaden our horizon when trying to follow the Savior. Love the sinner, don't condone the sin.Pencil Writerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09754663050624125557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34178755.post-22370633607071338332008-08-25T08:24:00.000-05:002008-08-25T08:24:00.000-05:00Thanks guys!True, Scotty. The couple has had two babies baptized in our church. Although there was quite a bit of quiet consternation when they first began to come to the church, I am glad to say that our oldsters decided amongst themselves that God will do the judging. There was no angry discussion at all. I love our oldsters. When I'm not teaching sunday school in the summer, theirs is the class that I attend.Debbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531125606268748793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34178755.post-4668102641656184472008-08-24T03:03:00.000-05:002008-08-24T03:03:00.000-05:00"That's a no-brainer.
