Two of the three stories I sent out in August were rejected. One of these pieces has been rejected three times now. I haven't given up on it yet, though. Two pieces that placed in nice magazines last year were rejected more times than that. On the other hand, I am not as confident of one of the rejected piece and may leave it a little longer before I try again.
One acceptance/two rejections/one still out.
Time to square my shoulders and search for another market.
