I received pseudophakia by Julie Carter in the mail yesterday. I was pleased to see several familiar pieces in it, especially an old favorite "Duck Duck Goose" and the powerful-"Richard Cory's Bullet" .
I hadn't seen "Asleep with Heart Disease" anywhere else yet (Must have missed it). I think to one degree or another, a lot of wives identify with the experience of listening to the skips and pauses of a loved one's heartbeat. Thanks for putting together such a good collection Julie. It was worth the work.

Glad you like the book, Mary, especially given the comment from my mom earlier this week!
