and building my wings on the way down
*passes Mary a bowl of virtual chicken soup*Hope you're feeling better soon, Mary - we've all just gotten over the obligatory start-of-winter coughs and colds ourselves.:-(
Oh, I can smell the virtual chicken soup from here. I avoid doctores. The thing that I've noticed is that when you go to doctors a lot, you end up with health problems. It makes me wonder that no one else has noticed this.
Thanks Scotty. :) Now if I can just figure out how to get the bowl out of my in-box through the printer without causing a soupy paper jam . . .Debby, to be quite honest with you, that's only sort of a joke from where I sit. Unless it's huge (like Gary's Recluse bite that made him so very sick last year, or his kidney stones a year or so before that, or a very rare ear infection via a boy) we tend to take a wait and see attitude around here. Most stuff resolves itself with rest and home remedies. My experience has been that doctors cause as many problems as they solve and sometimes it seems like the "cure" only produces more trips to the doctor to offset the side effects.
as we say in our family: it ain't called 'practicing medicine' for no reason!get better, Mary!Eileen
