Stuff

It's been a hard week for more reasons than I want to go into on here. It's all about finances and the looming prospect of bankruptcy and feeling like a failure (read: depressed). The feeling will pass. But meanwhile I'm not fit company for man ner beast. Strangely, I'm getting a fair amount of writing done (At just past 40,000 now).

I'll be back in a day or two after I've shaken this off.

Mary,

I can't offer good advice or anything like that, but I can at least say that I know where you are, what you're going through (at least to some extent), and am always available if you ever just need a sympathetic ear. You are loved.

And so finally after many more months of work, all the sages came back to him, and they had come to a unanimous conclusion that the wisdom of the world could be put into a four-word sentence. They told the king that this sentence expresses much. It is chastening in the hour of pride and consoling in the depths of afflictions. And I've reflected on this sentence this week. The sentence of their wisdom was: "This too shall pass."
I Corinthians 10:12

Take care,DavidM.

Hi Mary,

Sorry to hear you're so down. You're in my prayers. I've been very low myself recently and found this comforting:

Psalm 84:5 "Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the valley of weeping they make it a place of springs."

Love xxx

Mary, my reader still has Sunday's post archived, so I wanted to drop by and tell you not to beat yourself up. Life happens. You do what you must do to getto where you need to go, and that's all there is. I send you much support, hugs and strength.

I know it doesn't help much, but there is something bright and shiny at my blog for you.
