Insurance

My renewal for my auto insurance arrived today--the cards and amendments to policies, etc. I was much amused by the following statements:

3. Section II--Medical Payments--Coverage C
The following is added to what is Not Covered:

a. THERE IS NO COVERAGE FOR BODILY INJURY THAT RESULTS FROM EXPOSURE TO FUNGI.

b. THERE IS NO COVERAGE FOR BODILY INJURY THAT RESULTS FROM:

(1) NUCLEAR REACTION

(2) RADIATION OR RADIOACTIVE CONTAMINATION FROM ANY SOURCE; OR

(3) THE ACCIDENTAL OR INTENTIONAL DETONATION OF, OR RELEASE OF RADIATION
FROM, ANY NUCLEAR OR RADIOACTIVE DEVICE.

It goes on to state that my car wouldn't be covered if any of the above caused it to be damaged or destroyed either.

Now, maybe it's just me, but I think that if you're facing the possibility of nuclear devices detonating anywhere in your vicinity, whether or not your car insurance covers bodily injury or property damage is the least of your problems.

State Farm, we're here for you---unless someone blows us all up?

Mary ~ this is great stuff!
I think you have a real gift with being able to take the crazy, the insane, the mundane and make it something wonderful that we can laugh at. BTW ~ you really have a great heart, a wonderful spirit....hang in there.
