Grace is Gone

I saw Grace is Gone yesterday. It's not hard to see why it received an Audience Award at the Sundance Festival. Frankly, I think it deserves an Oscar.

I can't recommend it highly enough, but you'll want tissues.

Footnote:

I've evolved into a morning writer. Not a morning person. A morning writer. This means that it's still not safe to approach me before I've had at least one cup of coffee. But it does mean my best words are written at dawn. I nearly fell in front of the computer last night trying to finish a scene.

I still feel like I'm behind (what or who I don't know) but the story is moving forward every day, however slowly sometimes. My goal is to have most of this first draft written by the time the kids are back in school in late August, but I don't want to fall into the trap of just typing.

I'm really impressed that you can just sit down and write. I love following your story, and can't wait to see what happens in August.
