I've sold a story. Nothing glorious--but it means a little more money (every little bit helps) and more recognition is always good. I have two pieces I haven't sent off yet--shame on me--that I swore I was going to sub in August. One is a little sci-fi piece, the other is a piece of Christmas flash fiction. If I get it out now, I have a fighting chance of it being published by Christmas. I've targeted two paying markets for them.
Guess I'll get to that now.
