I sat down with the old laptop early this morning and began editing. About an hour ago I finished the third (and final?) draft. The last hundred pages were the most challenging to edit. The balance between drama and maudlin is difficult to do.
I'm ready to call it done, but sent it off to Dennis to do with what he will. That should keep me from tinkering with it. I'll turn my attention to the query letter for the time being.
Meanwhile I received my contributor's copy of Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine in the mail today. It is so cool to see my name on the cover. I think I'll do that again soon and, after Nov 10th, there should be no excuse

Glad to hear that your copy finally arrived, and hey, cool new look by the way.
:-)
Hi ya Scotty,
It's temporary. :) I'm actually searching for a new template and the one I copied and pasted from another site looked terrible once I had it in place.

"there should be no excuse" should read: "there will be no excuse". :)

Hi Mary, congratulations on finishing your third draft. Revising is so not fun. Is this your first book-length work? Because I thought I read where you mentioned other novels you'd written.
Hi CD,
This is my third completed book length work, but it's the first time I've gotten as far as the third draft and felt secure with the result.
Hi David. :)
So, is THIS the new look? I like this one.
:-)
Thanks Scotty. I really liked the one with the flying bird, but a lot of people had trouble with it.
