Joseph and Samantha
I'm still new to this having a kid with a girlfriend thing. I like the energy Sam brings to the household. She drags the boys outside for games of hide and seek and tag and on rainy days, they dash around the house, just being silly in general. Joseph is very amused by her ability to hold a conversation by herself.

As the less than neutral mother, I must agree.
Joseph is still learning the rules to the boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. I had to encourage him to get her phone number so he could call her between their weekly trips to church. Samantha, on the other hand, is far more adept at all of it.
That's sweet. Is he asking for money to buy her gifts yet?
Yes and No. Being Joseph, he wanted to earn it. So we gave him extra chores and he used the proceeds to buy her a Valentine's Day present and a card.
