Twitter

That's right. I've succumbed to it.  Do I like it? Not sure yet. It moves fast and I'm not sure I'm quite quick enough to keep up. Then there's that whole "say it in less than a 140 character" requirement. Do you know how challenging it is for a blogger and novelist (and talker) to compress what they want to say into a 140 characters?  But it has lots of nice strangers who want to follow me. This is pleasant, but concerns me. I'm afraid I'm going to let them all down. Do they think I'm going somewhere important? Won't they all be disappointed when they find that all I'm doing is going to the grocery store to buy milk? Will they then stop following me, leaving me all alone standing the Dairy section at the store, pathetically trying to choose between skim and 1% milk?

Wait. Come back. We can go to Walmart and you can help me pick out school supplies. How about Subway? I'm buying . . .

This is largely about networking, and getting the word out about Sing which you can now find at Smashwords and on Amazon  (both as an ebook and hard copy). Over the course of the next month it will surface at Barnes and Nobles, Apple, Baker & Taylor, Kobo, and Diesel.  I've learned a networking and marketing over the last couple of weeks. It seems I'll be well-served to learn how to use Pinterest too.

So if you twitter at all, look me up. Bush Babe 's already on board, but more familiar faces in the crowd would be nice.  https://twitter.com/MaryOPaddock

Hi BB! I actually haven't spent much time there, but it does seem like something someone could get lost in.
